Author Guidelines

Authors' Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts to the NeucitePress Journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they align with the journal's aims and scope. Submissions deemed a good fit will undergo a peer review process before a decision on acceptance or rejection is made.

1. Permissions and Ethics

  • Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents, and datasets.
  • All authors identified on the submission must consent to being listed as authors.
  • Research involving human or animal subjects must receive approval from an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

2. Submission Standards

  • An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality.
  • Ensure that the study design and research argument are well-structured and articulated.
  • The title should be concise and accurately reflect the content of the manuscript.
  • The abstract should be clear, informative, and able to stand alone, summarizing the key points of the research.

3. Article Types and Word Count

  • Original Research Articles: 3,000 - 5,000 words (excluding references)
  • Review Articles: 4,000 - 6,000 words (excluding references)
  • Short Communications: 1,500 - 2,500 words (excluding references)
  • Case Studies: 2,000 - 4,000 words (excluding references)
  • Editorials: 1,000 - 1,500 words (excluding references)

4. Abstract

  • The abstract should be structured into the following sections:
    • Background: Brief context of the study.
    • Methods: Overview of the methodology used.
    • Results: Summary of key findings.
    • Conclusion: Implications of the findings.
  • The abstract should typically be between 150 and 250 words.

5. References

  • References should be formatted according to the journal's specified style (e.g., APA, Vancouver).
  • Ensure all citations in the text correspond to a full reference in the reference list.
  • Aim to include a mix of recent and relevant literature, with a minimum of 15-20 references for original research articles.

6. Submission Checklist

Before submitting, please ensure the following:

  •  Manuscript adheres to the journal's formatting guidelines.
  •  All authors have been identified and consented.
  •  Permissions for any third-party materials have been obtained.
  •  Ethical approval has been obtained where applicable.
  •  Title is concise and reflective of the content.
  •  Abstract is clear and stands alone.
  •  References are formatted according to journal specifications.
  •  All figures and tables are included and appropriately labeled.
  •  Manuscript is free of grammatical and typographical errors.

  3. Reference Accuracy:

    •  All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  4. Tables and Figures:

    •  All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled appropriately.
  5. Permissions:

    •  Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets, and other materials provided with this submission.

  • Failure to meet these criteria may result in delays or desk rejection of the submission.
